Can I get Married at St. Mary's
Unfortunately this is not possible, but you can be married in St Edward's church.
Can I be buried at St. Mary's?
Only if you can prove that you are a member of a very small defined group of local families.
Is there disabled access to St. Mary's?
Not specifically, but people in wheel chairs can get into the church relatively easily (there is one small step).
Is there disabled access to St. Edward's?
Yes but the ramps to permit wheelchair access need to be put down in advance and it is not possible for a wheelchair user to open the double doors without assistance.
Can visitors get into the roof space at St. Mary's?
Unfortunately this is not possible for health and safety reasons but it can be viewed on the 360 tour of St. Mary's in the Tardis Tours Section of this website.
Can I park my car at St. Mary's?
Limited parking is available for cars on the roadside opposite the Church or on the verges further along the lane. Parking for coaches is available by prior appointment only.
Can I park my car at St. Edward's?
Limited parking is available for cars on the roadside verge opposite the Church or further along the lane past the village hall.
Can we come by coach?
Coach parties must be prebooked to avoid clashes with other visitors. Parking for coaches is also available only by prior appointment.
How do I become a "Friend"?
All are welcome to join our charity and the annual subscription is a modest £10.00 although larger donations will always be appreciated. An on-line application form is attached and this can be forwarded with the membership fee to: Mrs G Rees, Hedgerow House, Kempley Green, GL18 2BW.

I would like to donate to the Friends of Kempley Churches. How do I do this?
There are two ways to donate to The Friends of Kempley Churches: (1) send a cheque made payable to Friends of Kempley Churches to Mrs G Rees, Hedgerow House, Kempley Green, GL18 2BW; or (2) contribute using 'JustTextGiving'- on your mobile phone text the code FOKC11 followed by the amount that you wish to donate (£1, £2, £3, £5 or £10) to 70070 . For example to donate £10 text FOKC11 £10 to 70070 - you will then receive a receipt. If you are a tax payer you can also add GIFT AID, to increase your donation by 25%.

We will then review what you have sent and contact you in due course to discuss things further. Please bear in mind that we are a small group of volunteers.
